8mm turkish ammo i think

Picked up 260 ish rounds of 8mm turkisk 1947 ammo on stripper clips in bando's

I dont own a rifle for this so i am not 100% sure. Does it look correct?

Im going to trade it or sell. Im on my phone so hopefully it posts correctly

1947 was the worst year for Turk 8mm. Many of the case necks on the 1947 stuff showed cracks before firing. Lots of loose projectiles. It's strange because all of the other years of Turk I have from 1939 to 1951 are fine.

Considered fair to poor ammo for reliability. Tends to be HOT. The stuff I have hang fires on a regular basis. Click-bang.

I have experienced the opposite, It always goes bang for me but it does run a little hot. The Yugo stuff (brown box) used to give me more trouble, click, wait 30 seconds, recock and bang. Had to hit some of them twice. I had to strip my bolt, debur and clean out all the goo to make it function reliably.

It's good stuff and yours is in good condition. Worth 20 to 30 cents each, but I have plenty already.
