Has anybody got, or seen one for sale? How much do they sell for when they come up? Thanks

$1500 - $2500 depending on condition.

I don't think it disassembles like a modern magazine, so you'll have to have a hi-cap permit.

There are replica ones available from MGC if you can find them, they are a little cheaper for a display they work.

Jesus, So what does that make a fully 'Equipped' Luger Artillery with Stock and Magazine worth?

Not in CA.

Prices from mid-2000s... (not sure what they are now)
Reproduction Artillery Luger stock = $250-450
Original Artillery Luger stock = $1000-1500 depending on condition

I've seen a few drums for sale in the past at gun shows, but the hard part is finding the loading tool & adapter for it. BTW, they were used in the MP-18's by the Stosstruppen at the end of WWI.

If you do a search on Gunbroker, you will get answers quicker than posting here.
Just make sure to look at closed auctions, not asking prices, it is a better reference.
I have all the reference books, but interest fluctuates with the economy.

Lugers are wildly variable in price, but the artillery models are always going to bring a premium, but there are a lot of details to look out for.

So, and I can only speak for myself:
If it is an original barreled artillery model with original snail drum and stock for $5K or less I would buy it, period, cashola right now.

Beyond that it is all about the details.

I found two Luger drums on Gunsinternational, 2,000 Plus Each. The finest Artillery Luger I found -Minus stock- was 5,550.

I'm going to go with Asking on GI, As I've found 3 Luger Drums for 2k or less that are in equal or better condition.
