    Dumb C&R question.......

Hey guys, just a dumb newbee question.....sorry in advance. Anyways here goes. I am going on vacation to Utah all next week....with my C&R license in hand, can I buy a C&R gun (rifle or pistol) over the counter there? I know I would have to register the pistol once back here in CA...but just wondering if possible to buy anything at all from gun-stores in Utah? Any advice would be much appreciated.....thanks all.

C&r is federal so yes as long as there isn't a Utah law that has some restriction.

Be sure to show the cash first and then show them the 03 with the cali address.

Yes you can, but first good luck trying to explain a C&R license to dealers who have no clue, and then second trying to convince them to sell to you once they see you are a california resident.

Dealing with places like J&G spoils me and I forget what its like to deal with the majority of dealers.

Thanks guys......well I'll see what turns up.......It may be an interesting trip anyways as my hometown is about 5 miles away from the biggest fire going on in central Utah right now......and Utah is trying to blame target shooters for starting it, so letting the family shoot my collection up there might be out of the question for the time being.....lets hope for some rain up there....wish me luck
