Samco German Marked Mauser arrived today

I haven't had a chance yet but when I get it cleaned up I'll post some pics here. I plan to be pretty gentle with it because I don't want to change it, just smooth it out and protect/preserve it. Hopefully I'll be able to post about how it shoots too!

Looks like you have to relieve the rear pocket of receiver tang and maybe bed action/recoil lug area to stop furthor cracking from firing.

You could drill back into wrist from inside stock and epoxy in an oak dowel also.

Otherwise, good looking 98.
