    New Years resolution from back in 2009...Husqvarna M38's

    Back in December of 2008 I made a "no new guns in 2009" pledge (that was a laugh!). Since I was making a New Years resolution not to buy any guns in 2009, I figured that 2008 should end with a bang. I glommed a number of nice milsurps at the December, 2008 Greg Martin auction, including these two Husky M38's

    This one is all matching...

      This one is "all matching", but has several bolt parts electro-penciled




      I've been told that these Husqvarnas sometimes left the factory with e-p'd parts and that the e-p'd M38's are still considered matching.

      Oh, and that "no new guns in 2009" resolution...that went about like most of my New Years resolutions...straight down the tubes.

          This is the one gun (including the M-96) that I've been wanting to shoot. I don't know what 6.5x55 feels like, but I know I like the idea of it.

              Swedish Mausers are great guns shooting a great round. Get one of these as soon as you are able...you'll not be sorry.
