    My first ww2 1911

Just put a down payment on a ww2 1911a1. Remington slide, colt frame, with nra documentation from 1961. Shop just got it in friday so i have to wait 25 days to get her. Enough talk, pictures of the crappy camera phone variety.

Nice, I always want one. Is it true that USGI 1911 is rattled between slide & frame?

This one is actually pretty tight. Good hood to barrel and slide fit.

While not matching numbers, $1000 isn't a bad price for a WWII 1911. If you run into another one for that price let me know!

That's a nice one and a good price, too.

                    Good find.

I have one that I shoot, too - they are workhorses.

Centerfire in riverside where i found this one has two others, an ithica with a 1943 boyds holster and mag pouch and belt for around 1400 and an interesting piece. It has a union switch and signal slide ( that has 3 spots of rust on the side) with, i believe, an ithica frame which is definitely 1400 which seems fair. I went with the cheaper of the three mix masters. It is the cheapest ww2 1911 ive seen with nra paperwork. Im sure there are cheaper but i havent seen one.
