    my C & R collection

So last year I happened upon a Mosin-Nagant M91/30 at Big Five. I bought it because I had been seeing it in the paper for months and always seemed drawn to it.....this is what has happened since.

At the next Crossroads of the West I am looking to get a legit bayonet and sling for the M1 and maybe some more 30-06 ammo...

Next on the list... Type 99 Arisaka, maybe an M1 Carbine, maybe a Carcano in 6.5mm, maybe a 1903A3...

You can get M1 bayonets from CMP. At least, I think, they still have them.

Nice collection! What's the story on the K98? RC, Yugo?

The CMP has M1 bayonets here: http://www.odcmp.com/Sales/accessories.htm

I'll bet you 1000 internet points that you won't find a bayonet for an M1 cheaper than what CMP has them for.

        Great point about CMP.

The Mauser is a 1943 DOT Russian Capture. It is in exceptional condition. It has the typical Russian Capture X on the receiver, but all Nazi symbols are intact

You only have one of each? Save yourselves, it's too late for me.
Dennis, is that camera trickery, or does that Mosin laminate really look that good?

Going slowly (I don't like sleeping on the couch!) and yes the laminate really looks that good! I got that from classic arms, of course a few coats of BLO didn't hurt! I like the laminate but I love the Finn, for two reasons: 1) it's a real tack-driver! 2) It's was a birthday present from my son.

C&R rifles have become extremely addicting and Big 5 is awesome.

I'm not much on laminates, but that one is an eye catcher. My Finns are usually what I grab to go shoot with too. I notice softscrubb needs to add one to his collection!

This thread reminds me that I really need an Enfield before prices go up too much more...

Yup - Enfields are nice, just the ammo is a pain to get (I don't reload-yet)

Yeah, 303 Brit. is a PITA to get, but it's worth it. In fact, it's always worth it.
