    71/84 and late k98k...pics

I took some pictures of items that I will be listing for sale in the near future. Thought I would post up some of the pics before they move on.

First is a 71/84. These are interesting in that they had virtually every part serial numbered. The action is especially smooth, now if only I had some 11mm ammo to shoot.

Next is a 1944 k98k, a dou 44 in the 'y' block. At this point there were some shortcuts made but many small parts were still serial numbered. Here is what an un-messed-with late k98k laminate stock looks like.

Very nice 71/84! Looks like the receiver & bolt may have been blued at some point in the past, or it it just patina?

it's just platina. bolt and receiver are in the white. these pics show that a bit better.

          wow $4/round. not blasting ammo!

Nice k98 you have there. Looks typical of production towards the end of the war. Yours is still pretty good looking more towards the end the finish on them got real bad.

There is a model 71 unconverted sitting at city arms in Pleasant Hill. I don`t know how rear unconverted guns are. I seem to see a lot of converted.

I just buy the brass when it goes on sale. You don't need all that much of it, and it lasts a really, really long time. That was the first full powered rifle my daughter ever fired. She was all of about 6 at the time. At better than 9 pounds, shooting from a rest, the recoil was basically nil.

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
                          Come on...what harm??

Two very nice rifles - thanks for posting.

The 11mm ammo is out there, I have a five round clip - I will trade you for five rounds of 10.6mm reichsrevolver ammo.
