    S&W Model 19

Found this on GB, it happened to be at a shop local to my place in Oregon. Checking on line put it at 1974. 30 minutes later ...

No red insert up front, no white outline rear and target hammer and trigger despite the end tag. Also has a frame mounted trigger stop. The grips number to the gun and have black discs, not sure when those stopped.

Added the BK grip adapter instead of the factory "banana" grips.

Being C&R it could have been sent to CA. But buying in store I noticed the tag price was $125.00 lower than the starting price on GB. Figure DROS, taxes & transfer would have added another $225.00

A P&R example that looks excellent.

Very nice. I've never been a big fan of chrome, but 2.5 and 3 inch K frames have always been some of my favorite revolvers.

Oopps my bad, old eyes didn't read the box properly and not enough coffee.

That’s not chrome, it’s bright nickel. I know that’s splitting hairs, but my OCD demands that I point it out. I was never real fond of the nickel guns either, that was right up until I found a nickel 4” M29-2. Now I like them a whole lot better.

Love those old pinned barrel Smiths! Made back when they cared about quality control and no MIM parts. Nice find!

Perhaps the best 357 ever. Love all the K frames.

I'm not a snubby fan but that thing is absolutely beautiful. I would have probably bought it had I seen it. Nice score.

I've got several of 'em. One has a 44/357 Bobcat Magnum cylinder.
