Does 5 Transaction Limit Apply to C&R's?

I'll be needing to sell off some of my C&R's shortly. From my searches it looks like I can still sell face to face to a buyer with a CRFFL & COE. I saw that there is still a limit of only 5 sale transactions and no more 50 firearms sold per year. Does that apply to C&R's as well?

    Thanks

In my unlicensed lawyer opinion..hell no you are not limited.... Because you are not selling as a business for a profit. : )

You can sell Long guns face to face to an 03/COE holder. Pistols still have to go through an FFL for drose.

Yes the reg limit still applies to C&R, 5 trans or 50 units, I believe. Also sales outside of state counts. PAX

Are you sure about this? That would directly contradict what I was told here....

If I understand it right I can only sale five guns in one year.... But is that only in california or does it count towards sales out of state..?..thanks

Not antiques but C&R yes. Before 2014 it didn't because the was no reporting for Cash & Carry. Could be mistaken, ask the DOJ. PAX

On the other hand, since there was no paper trail before 2014, and if you didn’t tell anyone, no one would know…

But that would be very, very bad!

You should not even think of doing such a thing as it’s always better to toe the line and kowtow to the likes of Gavin Newsom and his ilk. That, and if you mentioned it here, all the little calguns brownshirts would report you to the authorities in a heartbeat.

So, don’t even consider doing something that most of the rest of the country does on a daily basis.

It is long overdue for a lawsuit to be filed to nullify the sales transaction limit.

Especially in light of the recent 9th Circuit victory in Nguyen v. Bonta striking down the 1-30 purchase law.

Any limits on sales make zero sense when every transaction is required to go through an FFL dealer with full back ground checks of buyers. I would also like to see a challenge to the ban on private sales in the same case.

Now I think I am venting like OP.
