Winchester M1887 Clone

Picked this little gem up today for $350. Not a real Winchester, it's a Chinese Clone. There are a couple handling marks on it, but overall it still looks basically new. I have absolutely zero need for one of these and I rarely will buy a clone vs the real thing, but the price was right and it just looked so darn cool I had to have it.

Right now my plan is to mount it on a wall in the man-cave and admire the thuggish looks of it

Nice! I have a Chinese Clone, Norinco. Friend I shoot with just bought a M1887 clone. I forgot where / who he said it was it was made. His has a parkerized finish.

I'm planning on taking it apart in the near future, polishing the internals and defarbing the exterior.

I've got one, picked it up several years ago for a great price. It's fun to take out a couple times a year and blast some stuff with and they look great. I'll probably throw mine on my display rack too, come to think of it. Lots less value to lose than the old Marlin 25-20 that's on there now, should something go wrong.

I think it was sometime in the late 20 teens, but don't hold me to that.
