Stevens 416/Sears Ranger

Found this out of state and in less than ideal condition - missing a few parts, no sights or scope and generally dirty as heck inside and out. Numrich and local hardware store provided the parts, cleaning and BLO and a Lischert looking for a home. All turned out well.

In addition to buying more often, I think having the C&R inclines us to buying project guns and bringing them back to life.

I love seeing old guns brought back to life. I would like one of those long scopes for my Winchester 52C, but oh my, they are quite pricey nowadays. I'm not fussy either, a Unertl, Lyman or Lischert would do nicely.
