    Misplaced C&R FFL Certificate

Title says it all. Renewed and got copy last week, brought it to work to cut copies today and left it in my lunch bag - which got tossed with the trash.

Looking around on line and ATF website got me nowhere.

    Any help?

    Here you go. Good luck.

If you've lost your Federal Firearms License (FFL), you can contact the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for assistance:
    • Phone: (866) 662-2750 or (877) 283-3352
    • Email: FFLC@atf.gov
    • Fax: (304) 616-4401

Thanks. I found contact info for local office. Am surprised it's in Dublin and not SF.

Cheaper rent. The regional FBI office is in Ripon, you'd think the City, Sac or Fresno, PAX

Well, in case anyone else does likewise - call (866) 662-2750 and DON'T press 1. Stay on the line and a person picks up who will transfer you to a "leave your info here and we'll e-mail or snail mail a replacement" message center.

ATF is very helpful and polite whenever I call them.

What are you doing hanging out at the regional FBI office? 😉

Craigslist Postal fraud in Idaho. Luckily the postmaster in Pingree helped me out, by contacting the hub supervisor in Pocatello who intercepted USPS money orders in transit and had them returned to me. I ended up with 2 bounced bank (looking) money orders. I originally went to report it in an Idaho office, but they said fraud had to be taken at a regional center and the closest one was in Salt Lake. The FEDS said the location that takes the report wouldn't matter, so I thought when I got back to Kali it would be in a major meto area, but it was 6 blocks from my house 😎. PAX

That sucks. Were they able to identify and catch the crook?

Once I filed the report and given all the email contact data, the agent told me they'd prolly never intercept the guy, and most likely originated offshore, Lebanon or Iran. Since I was able to catch the Postal money orders, there was no loss. PAX
