Does being a valid C&R rifle exempt that rifle from the maximum 10 round magazine CA law?

I'd like to pick up an M1 Carbine but am wondering what kind of magazines I can get with it in our oh so lovely state.

Sorry, no exemption for C&R firearms. But didn't you buy a few 15 round magazines for your carbine prior to the ban? I bet you did!

even if you have to use neutered magazines, the carbine is a great little gun. get one anyway.
