    M44 refurb question

This lacks a refurb marking on the barrel shank, correct? What is that P on top of the soviet crest?

I don't see a refurb mark on the shank, although the "p" could be a worn refurb marking. Hard to tell from the angle of the pic.

Is there a diagonal line in a box stamped on the buttstock, and is the bore counterbored?

No markings on stock at all. Stock doesnt have the rear rei forcment metal and front sling loop just has metal reinforcement on bottom it Is not counterbored

Can we get an overall shot of the rifle, plus pics of the serial numbers?

That's a nice one, I'm on my phone so the pic is a little small for me, but the floorplate looks original matching. That's a difficult year to find with any original matching parts...it doesn't look like a refurb to me.

The mag flOorplate is the only thing that matches. I was just told this m44 was most likely imported from albania, who receIved it from china as aid (hence the chinese bolt), who got it from russia as aid.

With what? Stock refurb mark would be on the right side butt btw.

Matches receiver. No marks on stock at all. No shellac either
