We are going to need a lot more than one picture to do that.

Anyone press will hear the fat lady sing.

Double barrel shotgun/rifle combos were popular in Europe. Looks like it takes a claw scope mount. The chambering should be marked on the barrels.

It's 8mm. I believe the 56 is the charge weight. The proofs are Belgian.

There are more markings on the undersides barrels. There may be more on the top of the barrels mid way down, related to the steel used in manufacturing.

Post some more pics of all the markings. It will make it easier to help you.

What you have is a Belgian made double rifle in 8mm. So far that's all I can determine. More pics will help further identify it.

The pictures I posted are the only markings on the rifle. The closes thing I could find, is ed kratz rifle. The ed kratz rifle was engraved on the rib on the barrel. This is just ribbed and checked all the way to the bead sight.

There are marks on the underside of the barrels in front of the chamber in the blued area.. I can see them in the pics, but they aren't clear or centered in the pic.

Look carefully all over the rifle. Try and take the pictures in the shade using natural light. It will make them easier to see and identify.

I did some checking of the markings in my proof mark books. All the marks on the bottom of the chambers on the unblued metal are East German "Suhl" proof house markings.

The marks on the frame are a combination of Belgian and East German Suhl proofs.

If there aren't maker marks on the top of the barrels in the location where I previously mentioned, it will not be possible to identify the maker. All European made double rifles look very similar to each other.

Many gunsmiths made these double rifles, and it would have originally had a scope with claw type mounts. Most of these claw mounts were custom made by each gunsmith so there is little interchangeability between different claw mounts.

Below is a pic of what the claw mount and scope would look like. It's on a Mauser in my collection.

The pic isn't clear. Can you retake? Try taking it in some shade outside or at least in the shade of a open window. The actual markings I was referring to are on the bottom of the barrel in front of the chamber.
