CMP normal processing time?

Mailed my check about 10 days ago but there's still no confirmation email and no pending orders in my estore (and check has not been cashed). Should I have heard something yet?

I mailed my check and heard nothing until 14 days later when I received the DBU (don't bug us notice) and 37 days after my order form hit the mailbox, the white truck of joy pulled up and delivered my HRA. Plan on 34-40 days.

Be patient. It takes a while but it is well worth the wait.

I placed an order in March. It took a little over two weeks to get the conformation email
(CMP customers refer it to is as DBU for don't bug us). Total time from when I mailed the order to delivery was about 5 weeks. It usually wont show up in the estore until a few days before they are ready to ship it.
There is no "normal processing time" as it varies as to how busy they are and what you order. I have had some rifles delivered in 10 days and have waited as long as 6 months

It took me about a week to get the confirmation email, and about 25 days total for the rifles to arrive at my house

It also depends on what you order. If you order a rifle they have a lot of, for instance the new .308 garands, it is quicker. I ordered a winchester garand and it took about 50 days mailbox to door. My hra service grade was about 45 days. Also the first rifle takes longer, i imagine, because they have to process your paperwork. Bottom line the wait sucks but it is definitely worth it.
Oh and they dont charge until they are ready to ship.

Time varies widely depending on how many orders they're getting. Weeks, sometimes months. Couple of years ago three or four months was typical time from placing order to delivery. They try and keep costs low and have a limited staff.

They have great customer service staff, but try and limit the time they spend on the phone. Email works if you have a problem. If no problems they prefer you wait patiently. Asking them for time estimates to delivery are not encouraged.

Their refurbished guns are excellent. A CMP Special Grade Garand might be the next Colt Python in ten or twenty years. Sweet deal on surplus ammo too. They'll have sold it all before long.

It's about the best deal going in gun sales. The money goes to support an endowment for promoting youth marksmanship programs, helping to train the next generation of gun owners and 2nd Amendment Voters.

They realize that there are only a limited number of military surplus guns for them to sell and that eventually their income will drop to very little, so they are packing it away in an endowment that will last for decades.

This is one of the reason on why I missed living in the South. I drove from MS to AL and hand pick the rifle myself with no waiting time. The only thing that suck is paying AL tax to pick it up that day or paying shipping to ship it to you with out paying AL tax.
