    For SKSer45 and Rojocorsa

Skser has been asking me for k98 pics, so I thought I would throw some up as well as some Mosins for Rojo to try and get him back into Mosinitis again

See Rojo? Amazing when you save up that 89.99$ a couple of times and can have some nice toys to play with

Nice looking rifles Cessna. We should have a mauser party!

I am a C&R noob, so just for clarification, the one that says "7.62" on it has been rechambered in 7.62x51mm NATO? If so, that's awesome.

Well.........I wouldn't say so. It is a common Israeli variant (and maybe others). It means it shoots sort of expensive ammo and some say is not C&R any more. They sure made the 7.62 big, too.

That is correct. After the fall of the 3rd Riech there were tons of German Mauser that were captured and re-chambered with the 7.62x51 NATO round. Ironically a lot of them went to Israel during their infancy and were actually used during their conflicts in the early days of the country. A lot of the Nazis marks were scrubbed but the Factory codes remained intact such as Cessnas. Also has the IDF mark which is really cool.

I handled one and saw a few with my own eyes and I must say just as smooth and feels like a German 98k 8mm Mauser. Pretty cool piece of history as well.

@3;20 there is small piece of the Isareli Mauser.

It is rather odd to see that. It is one of my best shooting rifles though. No wear at all on that action and barrel.

I need to get slings for these things. Only 4 of my rifles currently have a sling.
