    Question

    I ordered a M1916 Spanish Mauser from Samco International arrived today, that's the good news. The bad news, I was extremely disappointed in it's condition. Basically, it looks like crap; the stock is in horrible condition and the barrel, has a ton of marks and nicks on it. Here's my questions, should I:
    1. Return it for a full refund?
    2. Send it back and ask for another one?
    3. Keep it and try refinish it?
    Again i am really disappointed in Samsco, by-the-way has anyone had experience with Samco?

    Your input is greatly appreciated !

    Hopefully I get pic's up but my laptop (using a iPad now) is down and the iPhone pic's don't really show the detail.

          Did you get the Special Select...

          80% of original metal finish. Some dings & dents on wood, Clean Bore: pitting.

          or the Very Good...

          65% of original metal finish. Dings & dents on wood, clean bore, in working condition.

                      Mine was "special select" and no it didn't look anything like yours!
                      FYI- From the time of ordering until the delivery day was 10 days.
