    M44 Fireballs?

I've read somewhere that Fireballs (muzzle blast) from an M44 with a counterbored muzzle are bigger\brighter than non-counterbored. Is this true or is it just the ammo?

I have both a counterbored, and a non-counterbored M44. IMO, that doesn't matter, it's all about ammo and how dark it is outside.

Czech training ammo near dusk makes for massive fireballs

would imagine the Steyr m95 carbines, the Enfield NoV jungle carbines, and the Berthier Artilleryman's Carbine are similar: itty bitty short barrel, big azz cartridge = big ol' fireballs, or so i'd imagine.

Ammo is the thing. Whatever this stuff is, it will get a little flame out of even a 91/30:

I have a counterbored M38 and shot a non counterbored M44 and they are both as loud and the fireballs are about the same, they are both loud and obnoxious. just the way I like it
