    first smle

So I got a mark III* Its a little rusty, a little grimey, and a little sporty. I want to bring this one back to original configuration, but i cant find all the wood anywhere. especially rhe forestock and handguards. the buttstock might actually be salvageable.

So anybody got a line on the wood besides numrich?

"Sporter" is what the drooling toothless inbred albino with the hacksaw thinks his newly created "dear riffel" is.
"Bubba" is what he and his ugly and ruined rifle really are.
First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.

I appreciate it brother. I figured I would ask here because some of you guys are pros at knowing where all these things are and who has what.

I just printed out a schematic, and oh boy am I missing alot of little parts. Its just too bad some people do this to these rifles. It could have been a nice collectors piece.

              SARCO

Try Sarco. Going through their warehouse is on my bucket list. If you read Shotgun News they are always saying they found something when cleaning up. Here are the parts for your rifle
You do not have to be crazy to hang out with me. I'll train you!

Try Springfield Sporters, got most of the parts for my SMLEs there.

                Items 19A, 76, 77.
The DP markings on the ones I got were not too deep (YMMV).
The forearm is profiled for the magazine cutoff, does your SMLE have a cutoff?

                  ^ these guys!
I picked up a Sporterized LE No4 last month. Eventually I will replace all the wood & hardware. I can get all new matching wood. Priced it out @ about $150 for everything. There is about 20 pcs total.
Currently waiting for my new CMP Stock to arrive for my 03A3. Got the new hardware from Sarco today.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

I did a bubba save on a Spanish 1916 short rifle in 7x57, and ordered the parts I needed from them. They are a good parts dealer.
