I wouldn't sand blast and dura coat. What you have there is a model 91 not a 91/30 which is more common. On top of that it is a Fin capture which adds a little more value.

I would put it at around 250. Also it`s Tula manufacture.

But hay it`s your gun to do with what you want.

Please sell it before you sandblast it.

So a fin captured m91? Value around $250? Is that buy or sale price?

$250-$300. Not one should be messed with IMO.

Personally, I think ceracoting it in Gen II Desert Sage would be best.

I have to ask though - you're trolling, right?

What you have is a Tula manufactured M91 Finnish capture, in what appears to be pretty decent condition (how's the bore?), except for that repair on the stock. It'll bring you anywhere around $200-300 (or about $70-100 when duracoated, although it might take some time to sell), possibly more, although unlikely. You never know, people pay stupid prices sometimes, if they really want something. If you're really serious about duracoating it and not just trolling, sell it to me first, buy a cheap 91/30, duracoat it, and use the extra money for a hacksaw, airbrush, ATI stock, and a clip-on muzzle break

this is nice collectable rifle, do not destroy it, you can get something more common and less expensive with better barrel, trade it to 91/30
if you really gonna kill this rifle, I would like to buy all parts left after it - barrel bands, cleaning rod, handguard and stock

If this is a good joke, I must have lost my sense of humor.

In regards to the OP, I really don't get where the humor is in these posts that pop up a few times a week threatening to destroy a nice old historic battle rifle. Is trolling really that much fun?

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.
