    The very first k31

This rifle was in a private collection in Switzerland, but is now owned by someone completely deserving of owning this rifle. Our Distributor in the Netherlands, Guisan.

    Serial number.

Comparison. The top rifle is a standard k31. The bottom one is the first k31 made.

Guisan is an awesome guy to deal with and deserving this rare Swiss arm.

I wonder what that cutout is on the receiver?

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Now I see that you can't shoot this rifle (I would not want to anyway) as it has cutout all over. Very nice and I'm sure Frank is proud of this specimen. Did he just acquired this from his last trip to Switzerland?

I wouldn't expect anyone other than Guisan to own the very first K-31 made.

Very nice - an interesting thing to look at the development between the two rifles.
                    Thanks for posting,
