    I was thinking it could be quite the racket to have shill bidders "win" a rifle at these high prices and then have it get lost in transit and collect insurance. It's not even a "firearm" since it's an antique receiver so "theft" wouldn't require reporting it to the police/ATF as a stolen firearm. Not saying that's what's going on, but I wouldn't put it past a humper to be a scam artist as well.
