yup. I just realized the flash kind of messes up the look, but the wood is a nice dark color that goes great with my rifle.

It's f-ing HUGE though. That is a standard size keyboard that it is going from end to end against...

I will tomorrow, since the lighting sucks in here, and it wouldn't do justice to the rifle.

I was in Switzerland this summer. I went into a gun shop and asked for a K31 bayonet. They didn't have any so I asked how much one would cost if they did.

            "Oh, about 35 francs."

I want one too but like some other milsurp rifles I can't bring myself to pay more for the bayonet than the rifle. How much does 35 Swiss francs translate to?

Panzer- who made it and how much did it cost you. I pick up one for 90 bucks made by Elsener Schwyz which became Victorinox (yeah the swiss army knife makers. )

lets see... judging from the amount of beer you can purchase with 35 francs, I'd say maybe $30 US

That said, you got a good deal, I landed a box of bayonets for 400 francs plus a case of beer and I only got 6 pieces shipped out of switzerland

On the European version of Ebay about 3-5 years ago I scored three K31 bayonets out of the Netherlands for $35 each plus shipping. I kept one and sold the other two for $75 each. I noticed about a year ago when I looked for more that the Europeans have wised up and K31 bayonets are going for a lot more now.

Thats's a nice score. Those Swiss bayonets are a real thing of beauty just like the rifles.

AND you don't have to worry about the bayos being used.
