Congrats on getting the BREN! I bought a MKII from Rick last year, in fact I think mine was the first California compliant version he had made. He converted the flash hider into a muzzle brake like he did with my DP28 and DPM and his son fashioned a MonsterMan style grip out of a very nice piece of walnut so I could keep the original magazine release and so I can use the 30 round BREN mags I have had sitting around since the mid eighties. In fact when you look at the pictures he has on the website you will see several pictures of my gun with the converted flash hider and the somewhat funky grip. He has since come up with a bullet button style mag release for those that want to retain the original pistol grip. SMGs guns are first rate and for the money I think they are a better and less costly way to got for anybody wanting a WWII vintage light machine gun as opposed to the more expensive Ohio Ordnance Works BAR. I have had both but recently sold the BAR because I just find the BREN to be a much cooler gun. You are going to have a hoot with it!
