1970 M39

[Mustang]

I have several on the "sneak" m39's including two of the 1970 dated ones.

This one is in great shape, as are all of them, it seems


Unlike the other 1970, this one has matching numbers on the receiver and barrel shank. I got a chance to put a few of the Prvi "match" 54R rounds down range and it appears to be very accurate.

I don't have any pics of the surplus range results, but here is a comparison of the "match" and "regular" Prvi. This is just one test though...not sure how much to make of it.

I took this one back to the Lincoln range to test the new Prvi 54R "match" ammo. Was a bit disappointed in how the "regular" ammo did this time.

I don't shoot corrosive in my Finns. I know it is just a cleaning issue, but still haven't gotten over my reluctance.

I recommend the "match" now, because it is less than a dollar more than the regular Prvi.

Nothing too fancy, 172's 150's occasionally a 182 if my friend is flying that one. Piloting more pipers these days.

Ahh. I used to fly some on the job and now belong to the Civil Air Patrol. Fly mostly 182's and 206's.

Pipers are good too!
