can somebody give me measurements on the distance from the handle to stock and the length of the bolt handle. I want to weld one up using some drill rod from OSH.

You talking about mosin nagant 91/30 PU scope friendly bolt handles? You going to try and do this? http://www.gswagner.com/mosin-nagant/bolt/mnbolt.html

Otherwise, I believe ATI offers a bent bolt for a MN receiver scope mount friendly action/receiver. Also, you might ask GSequoia: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ad.php?t=77112

If you haven't gotten an answer yet I'll take measurements from my 91/30 when I get a chance, probably tomorrow though as I won't be home until late this evening. I have a genuine sniper bolt...
Alot isn't a word and allot isn't the word you think it is.

I'd really like a Colt 1903 frame, bad finish okay!
I'm also looking for a good deal on a 1911 frame or two for budget/spare parts builds.

Okay, I actually had a bit of time here...

The diameter of the ball at the end of the handle is about 0.788".

From the top of the bend to the bottom of the ball is approximately 2 11/16"

With the bolt locked closed the closest part of the bolt is just under 1/8" away from the stock. The bolt is not a 90 degree angle, I have no protractor on me so I cannot give you a good number on the angle, maybe about 85 or so?
