I'm sure! Now given the speed of .gov today and the number of COE applications going out, I guess it's bound to put some grind in the system.

I let my COE lapse more than 12 months. I tried to renew it in early December; and they were quick to say, I had to reapply. So, I got printed end of December and sent the app in at the end of December. Tracker showed it arrived there on 03 Jan 2012.
New COE has the same number as the old one.Life Member NRA and 2A Foundation.
