    You got lucky. It's an M91 made in Izhevsk in 1905, captured by Austrians (that's what the AZF marks are, it was accepted into their service), and then bought by Finns (and accepted into their service). Thanks to its capturr, it wasn't reworked into a 91/30. You just paid for a half or 2/3 of your 1903

          These guns are very cryptic as you can tell with what it takes to decipher all the markings. Most people don't know what they have, nor do they care sometimes.

            It was started over a month ago, and bumped up for some reason.

            Plenty of gun people have no idea of all the models of Mosin...they see one, they assume "Big 5 $99 special!", and because of this, they have no idea what some of the rarer markings are.

              You're right. That and the fact that Mosins used to be considered junk. Arguably they are compared to Mausers and Enfields but they will be scarce one day and a piece of history in their many different variations.
