Ordering from the CMP?

When ordering from the CMP, when they say they are accepting orders starting at a certain date, do they mean that is when they start opening the mail that they have collected for those rifles or that is when they will actually even receive orders for that rifle?

What do they do if I send in an order now for something they will start accepting orders for in three weeks?

basically, if they receive an order before that date listed, they send the order back. So, plan your mailing accordingly...

Yup, send the order in so that it arrives on the magic date. It is common for people to send stuff in overnight or priority mail calculating it to show up on the correct date. That way you have the best chance of getting something before it sells out.
