    Waffenamt Codes

    These are links showing a breakdown of Waffenamts, I haven't seen a thread like this, hope it helps:

    !!WANT TO BUY and looking for shooter/beater/reenacting grade German Waffen proofed handguns from the WWII era. I just want shooters, Im not looking to spend oodles of money, I just want shootable examples to play with!!

    !!!Also looking for a shooter/rack grade USGI M1 Carbine (Earlier the date the better)!!!

        I know most, if not all the manufacturer codes, but I don't know like any Waffenamt codes..anywho lol I see a lot of people asking ehat their codes mean, so I thought I'd help.

                        Good info, its nice to seem them all together. The mfg and sub contractor codes can be a bit brain numbing though.

                            The guy that I talked to who posted that thread said they were the worst rifles hed ever seen. I also spoke with Kroh from Empire Arms and he was going to buy that batch a few years back but they were in such piss poor condition he turned down the importer, even with the knowledge that the K98 surplus was running dry. They they must be crap.
