    Mosin M-39

Where can I buy a Mosin (Finn) M-39? Prefer a VKT B barreled model or a TIKKA. Appreciate any help. Have already checked with Empire Arms and the various gun auction sites. Understand that there is an outfit in FL that specializes in these but have not found anything yet.

Update: just bought an unissued B barreled. Still looking for the VKT B barreled and TIKKA.

The pickings are much more slim than they were in the past, however. They come up fairly often in the wts forum, and that is a good way to go, with gunsandammos prices in mind.

I find my prewar to 91'30 to be as accurate as my M39, since sold. The M39 trigger is much better, for sure.

I had a not so great experience myself. She lost a customer in me for sure.

I'm looking into getting my first M39 as well, and been checking out gunsnammo a lot in the past. Would some of you who have had a bad experience with Pat care to elaborate? I don't want to spend the money to get something from there, and then discovered too late that there is a problem with false advertising, for example. Shipping rifles back and forth is not something I'd like to do constantly...

                    Thanks much!

p.s. Is there a M39 that needs to be a "first buy" in terms of manufacturer?

Rumor is that Pat Burns has swapped parts to make rifles "more" correct meaning, they sell for more.
