J&G just reduced their price on the Finnish M28/76's down to $699. Arggggg, I have been drooling over one of these for a while and now they have to tempt me like this!

And $100 less for a left-handed stock!
I gave in to the temptation...first time in my life that I paid LESS for the left-handed option! You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
Come on...what harm??

Looks like today is your lucky day. I am probably going to buy one when I get back from Shot Show. Remember to get the diopter insert set for it: http://www.tnguns.com/shop/index.php...959efcf1a56b1dComment

Bought mine at auction about a year ago for 525. I really, really like it!
Mr. Sandman, thanks for the link to the diopter sight set - I've GOT to get those!Comment

The really amazing thing on these rifles is the trigger. Anyone who has a refurbed Mosin that tries the 28-76 trigger will not believe it is the same mechanism*!! Those Finns knew how to take it one step further.
*I mean in general, since yes it is a different trigger since it is the M27 style pinned sear.NRA Life Member - CRPA Life Member - NRA Certified RSO - USN Veteran
I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Yes, the trigger is easily the best I've had on a Mosin...lots of smooth take-up, then a distinct set point, then it just breaks. And the action is the smoothest I've had on a Mosin as well. The really amazing thing on these rifles is the trigger.
