    Scoping a yugo 24-47

I have a yugo 24-47 that was purchase a few months back, I like but the sites are real pain - I was thinking about scoping it. I've been doing some research and I found this site:

It looks like the easiest way is to scout-scope it.

I don't want to do a lot of gun-smithing to get this accomplished.

So with that in mind, anyone else have any other suggestions?

If you do scope it, I would recommend using the correct Zrak scope and Zrak mounts and finding a turn-down bolt. The other option would be the the B-squared mount that attaches to the rear sight ladder and using a pistol type scope but the accuracy of those is not great. Just depends on what you want to do...

I have a Leatherwood LER2-7x32 long eye relief scope on low weaver rings on a Brenshok no d&t mount. Contact dano5058@hotmail.com for the mount. It is a solid, well engineered scout type mount. Once I had the scope zeroed, it hasn't moved in over 200 shots. You can still use the iron sights. You may want to add a cheek pad to the stock.

I used that S&K mount, and an NC Star 2-7x pistol scope. Works great for me, and it's reversible.

This. You end up with a perfectly serviceable rifle, with a scope. And you won't be a Bubba. It is a win for you all the way around.

The Jmeck mounts look really impressive. I like how unobtrusive to the gun they are. Does the mount that wraps around the receiver wedge itself between the stock and receiver?

So far it has. I've shot maybe 100 rds through it since I put the scope on.
