'new' C&R I Picked up today.....

I saw these on the cover of a surplus rifle magazine a couple years ago and have always wanted one. One popped up locally but the seller wouldnt budge off of $800. Nice, can't wait to take it out this spring. It's one of the Gibbs repro models.

Nice, use it in the Vintage Sniper category at the CMP Western Games.

I thought about using it this summer at the vimbar.com shoots, it's between this and the K31.

That would be great to use at the Vimbar shoots. But, I thought they use "vintage." Yours isn't. Sorry, its just that I am a "collector." Please don't take me as being rude. I will say, it does look nice. Whats on the receiver? http://www.gibbsrifle.com/1903-a4_sniper_rifle_.html

Looks sweet but too rich for me these days. Thoses Gibbs are done well and are in a collector niche by themselves. Good luck with that tuned iron. PAX

I've never seen a Gibbs... never even heard of them before now, but that's a very sweet looking rifle!

Original or not - very very nice!

Bring that out to Sac Valley the third Sat of each monthe and shoot the Mil-Surp Prone silouette rifle match 200/300/385/500 meters off of a sandbag rest.
