    Got my C&R today

    Man that was quick...

Sent the app in on November 25th. Received it back at the house right before Christmas (I mistakenly put US in County because I wasn't wearing my glasses and it should have said San Diego), sent it back to them and just received my official C&R license in the mail today. Not a bad turnaround considering I had to get it sent back and forth twice due to my mistake.

So.. in the past two months I have purchased the C&R guns in my sig. Looking at a Garand next (probably Service grade from CMP). These purchases were before the deals I will get with a C&R.....

For those of you with a C&R.. do I send it to a list of vendors so they store it on file? Where is the best way to get a ledger? I expect my welcome package any day. Yippee!!

I made my own Excel "ledger" and print out the pages every time I update my list. Then I stick the pages into a 3-ring binder. Search the web for a printable PDF to use an example.

FYI -- the format of the FFL-3 was revised slightly in October 2011.

example: The signature block now has a date field plus, title and printed name that need to be filled in on each copy as it's sent/presented/used.

So, don't be surprised if in a C&R license exchange, you see one in the new format.
