    m44 question

i bought a m44 and i noticed that there was a bolt missing. it is located on the bottom of the mag and it seems to hold it to the stock closest to the muzzle. i was wondering if anyone knows what size the bolt is and also is it something i should really be concerned with?

does anyone know where i can find different stocks or available parts to upgrade an m44? the original stock doesnt seem to be in the greatest condition... but i guess you get what you pay for. well thanks in advance..

Do you mean the screw that hold the front of the action into the stock? That one would be good to replace. I do not know what size that is.

Do you have a picture of the location that you can post?

Given their price, it might be easier to find another one than start swapping parts off of this one

I've heard these thing multiply like rabbits. I only have the one at the moment, but am looking for at least another two(91/30 and an M39).

      Don't fire it.

It's likely to flop around too much and potentially break that rear screw. That is one of the two screws that hold the magazine on the rifle and the stock on (aside from the two barrel bands).

There are your screws (yeah you don't need the rear screw but whatever... )

ATI makes a stock, in fact that very retailer has them, I cannot say anything on quality or fit.
Alot isn't a word and allot isn't the word you think it is.

I'd really like a Colt 1903 frame, bad finish okay!
I'm also looking for a good deal on a 1911 frame or two for budget/spare parts builds.

I think they have a ten dollar minimum order though.
