    J&G Sales Review

Just thought I'd post a review for the excellent service I received from J&G recently.

I ordered a M95 on their Christmas special. The box arrived and it was poorly packed (The bolt handle was sticking OUTSIDE of the shipping box). Not to my surprise, part of the rifle was broken. A piece of the bolt safety tab was broken off. I called J&G and without question, they apologized and sent me a return shipping label. I sent it back and within 2 weeks I had a new one arrive that was in better condition than the first! I didn't have to pay a penny for any of the return shipping and think it was great for a company to stand up and help out their customers without placing their profits first.

Was it Fedex shipped? They've been taking alot of flak for that one guy who tossed a computer monitor over a tall fence instead of delivering it to the front door. I wouldn't be surprised if your package was thrown and kicked around long before reaching your door. Good to hear your new one was in better condition. I'll definitely find something to order from J&G soon!

I believe that they used Fedex the first time and I requested UPS the second. The second time, there wasnt a dent in the box.

I'll definitely ask for UPS also. Thanks for the heads up!

Glad to hear you every thing turned out all right!
I had a friend that used to work at FedEx (this was many-many years ago!). Oh the stories he would tell......................!

I had an experience with them about 6 years ago. It was an Enfield No.4 Mc1. It was supposed to be hand select. Sure did not look it. Shipping package was like as Steeved described. I kept the rifle after spending alot of time working on it to bring it back to life. Sold it then about 2 years ago. I will never buy from them again unless I stop in at Prescott, AZ. It sure was disappointing when I saw that rifle.

I bought one of those Christmas M95's as well and........you guessed it, the bolt was sticking out of the box. Thankfully mine was in excellent condition.

I like JG Sales. Only had a problem with them 1 time and they remedied that situation STAT.

JG Sales gets in my book.

J&G is the best! Just picked up a couple of cases of Remington .380 cheap. Was at my door about 3 days after I hit "place order".

                Awesome!

I really want to get out there in person. I can hear a couple P64s calling my name from Arizona...

Thanks for sharing your experience with them. I plan on ordering from them soon; it's good to know customer oriented they are.

I went there a couple of years ago while vacationing in Arizona, expecting a huge shop with tons of browsing opportunities. I've been in stores in other states where they have racks of C&R/consignment firearms to browse through. The actual store was disappointing. There are a few shelves of items, but all firearms are either on the wall behind the counter or in the counter, and the shop is relatively small. They are primarily an internet business. That said I did get fast and friendly service while I was there (I bought a CZ82).

I want one of those too. If I go, I would mainly be buying pistols. I "need" a couple Nagant revolvers, a couple Toks, another Makarov (or two) and at least one more P1/P38...

Also, if we go to Arizona, can we buy those Yugo 59 SKSs? I know that they can't be shipped here but what if we go there? Is that a no-no? Slightly off topic, I know but just curious...

I ordered a couple rifles recently, an M95 and a yugo Mauser. Shipped fedex and never showed, I figured they were backed up so after 2 weeks or so I call and the rifles were shipped back! Wtf fedex, no door tags, nada... J&G was helpful in that they reshipped UPS and finally they came wednesday. I tried calling fedex but didn't do any good, they claim to have done their part... No more fedex for me. The ups guy knows me well

Oh and both boxes were double boxed. The inner boxes had holes where the bolts were, probably from fedex
