Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it unless it was something special. In Russia, they're just Mosins. Mosin designed the rifle, but couldn't patent the design because he was an officer of the Russian Army, and therefore the rifle was considered a military secret and not eligible for patent registration.
Nagant registered his design, and then made a big stink to the world that supposedly his design was ripped off (it wasn't), and Russia wanted to use Nagant for a contract for revolvers. So they paid him a lump sum of royalty fees, and then purchased the Nagant revolvers for officers.
