    Oregon C&R suggestions

Heading up to Salem, Oregon, to visit my female offspring....any recommendations or personal experiences with area stores stocking C&R eligible weapons?

If you're interested in Black Powder type rifles there is a cool little shop between Grant's Pass and Rogue River called Rogue River Trading Post. It's like the size of a Starbuck's bathroom, so they don't have that much but the guy is helpful and had probably 20 muskets and a bunch of old pistols, etc. He is a regular at all the gun shows too, so would probably know more about what's available to the North. I was in there last summer and they had a full ammo can of old M2 Ball on strippers and in the original bandoleers... I would have bought it but I was headed to the airport

Otherwise, if you have a smartphone, pull up google maps and search for "guns" & "Pawn". That's what I do and it's worked out pretty well for me as I am traveling. Don't tell anyone

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
