    CMP Selling 15-round Carbine Mags

    $45 for a carton of 5, I'm told.

It would be illegal to order these in CA, right? Or does the fact that the CMP is a govt agency magically make it okay? I should know better, but I figured I might as well ask while they're in stock.

We all know you can use these mags as parts for re-building old mags.

Too bad CMP will not disassemble the mags before shipping.

It's legal if you don't make yourself a new high-cap magazine with the parts later. You can have spare parts for your existing high-caps, but parts kits are useless (for people who don't commit felonies) if you don't already have one legally.
