Limbsaver on a M44

Medium size Limbsaver fits great on any Mosin but you'd be better off to get a PAST wearable recoil pad and you don't have to worry about switching it around on different rifles, etc.
The Limbsavers are $30+ and the PAST pads can be found for $20 on Amazon.NRA Life Member - CRPA Life Member - NRA Certified RSO - USN Veteran
I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

"Moms Demand Action" sounds less like a gun control group and more like the title of a porn flick from the mid-90s.Comment

Be careful with putting limbsaver on a Mosin..... your going to ruin that stock

Pure bunk.your going to ruin that stock
Small one works well. The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

I run these on my mosins, not for recoil protection(because they don't) but it does give a better LOP and the closest thing for recoil it does is eliminate that sharp steel edge. But trust me you will feel every bit of recoil. The rubber is very hard.http://www.amazon.com/Mosin-Nagant-R...2773899&sr=8-1
That is what I had on my last mosin, worked pretty dang well at reducing the felt recoil, and I don't think it looked that bad on it either.
Then again the recoil is not a big issue with me YMMV!NRA MEMBERComment
