C&R RENEWAL

after renewing my c&r back in july and not getting a response i called them to see what was going on in sept. the lady said everything was fine but it was taking longer than expected, so she emailed me an extension. well yesterday i received my renewal back saying it was incomplete, seems i didn't put down the chief of polices full name down..? in the chief leo box i put chief c. bush but i guess that wasn't good enough for them. i then noticed that the stamp on the form was dated mid aug. and it also stated that after 30 days the c&r license would be considered abandoned. well its now nov. and my c&r is no bueno. i was in a bad mood already when i read it so i just shredded the renewal. so thats how my short c&r experience went folks.

Sorry to hear. But an incomplete app is an incomplete app. It's too bad though you gotta play the waiting game for so long until they give notice there is an issue.
Fill out another app. and try again is the best you can do.

Some folks out there don't renew, but rather wait till their old one expires and re-apply for a new license/number, which then you can get rid of the old entries in your bound book and start over again.
