The big brown truck just left a package at my door. Numbers matching 1944 Sauer K98. Has some pitting (ok, it looks almost like it was left in the Ardennes for a while) but is cleaning up nice and has a nice bore. Will post pictures as soon as I get it all cleaned and back together.

Good character. As long as the bore is okay and there aren't any deep pits you're good. Just bought my first as well. It's a Remington Mosin-Nagant M1891/M1916 NRA sporter.sigpic
