need front sight for mosin nagant m44

I need a front sight for a mosin nagant m44. Mine does not have the wide base sight so can i just buy one of these?

no im not looking for a place to buy it. Liberty tree collector has an ebay store and they have a great rating there. I'm just making sure that i can buy the front sight in the link i provided for my m44.

Numrich has them, only $9.35. Unfortunately, there's no picture for comparison.

I'm fairly certain that whatever Libertytree is selling on eBay as an M44 front sight will be just that.

I went on 7.62x54.net and i confirmed that the front sight from the 91/30 is the same as the m44's front sight if it doesn't have the wide base.

go on e-bay or gunbroker and put the info into search for a 91/30 front sight and you will have one. i know because i have one listed on both places. tom
