Need HELP Identifying C&R Octagon Barrel Rifle and revolver

Greetings. I'm in need of a little help from the C&R experts on the forum. Can anyone could identify the rifle, pistol, and values of each or even ball park figure? Any help is greatly appreciated. The rifle has an Octagon Barrel and the Pistol is Iver Johnson. Here are some pictures. Thanks in Advance.

I read somewhere that America is safer place when criminals dont know who is armed, well that is why...."I'd rather be caught with, than without."

The rifle looks like a parlor rifle. Some were made by Flobert. They shot a short cartrige with a round bb as a bullit. Some shot a 4.5 mm,22 cal, or even 9mm.they could be shot indoors. they were popular from the 1880s to the 1920s. As far as price they are not expencive. Probably less than $150. DR

It is a flobert using the Warnant breech system.
as said it was chambered mostly for 22bb, 22short, long, long rifle, 32 short & long rimfire and 9mm short & long rim fire. Plus a few other odd calibers -
The warnant system was the fourth and last style flobert and ended production about 1932 --
see frank dehaas book "single shot rifles" for more info.

Some of you guys are amazing! I am in awe of your depth of knowledge and/or your google-fu...

The trigger guard on that rifle is wild - I can't tell if it's a trigger guard or a bear trap!

The pistol might be an Iver Johnson Supershot. How many chambers in the cylinder - is it 8? Can you tell if it is a .22 or .32? Any other markings on it? I think they are fairly common - but I really don't know.

the guard is somewhat bent but it was designed to be used in the off hand shooting that was popular back then. they placed there fingers on it in such a way as to have the trigger finger free and not touching anything else. you will see some odder looking ones on schoetzen type guns.
