Mineral Spirits & Hard Plastic

Prepping for Monday (When I get my Zastava M57 Tokarev out of Jail) went out and bought a bottle of Mineral Spirits & Pan to soak it in. Wondering what effect the spirits may have on the hard plastic grips. Should I leave them out and just clean them without, or would they be fine with the rest of the pistol?

i would leave them out of the spirits bath and use a hair dryer and paper towels, or even hot running water (not boiling, only has to be 110* to melt cosmoline) just to be safe.. paint thinner and other similar products would discolor them to say the least, so its better to be safe than sorry!
