They're lower in the food chain than Russians or even Chinese. IIRC, the bore is not chromed on a Yugo.

Technically, they aren't SKS's, though they look like them. I have a Yugo and a Russian. In my opinion, the Russian is a bit more refined and "classic", while the Yugo is heavier and a bit more rugged feeling.

My Yugo is also more accurate than the Russian. Both are fun to shoot and of course ammo is cheap.

To the OP, that's a gorgeous rifle!!!! Enjoy!!!!

I'll be out at P2K on Friday as well with my Norinco SKS. My SKS is living in an ATI Monte Carlo stock these days as the original wood stock is just beat to heck!
