    Mossberg Model 185D-A, 20 gauge, 1950

And yes, the C&R hunt was a ton of fun.

This Mossberg is in excellent condition. It's missing the "red" fire plastic thingy on the stock near the safety. This shotgun, looks like it has been sitting in storage for a while.
You know when varnish bubbles up, well there was varnish on the barrel that was bubbled up. Not from extreme heat, rather from not being used. I don't know if the right word is varnish or not.
I have all 3 chokes and the magazine looks like it is in great condition.

Sorry no spatula. Working on it though.

      So many new guns!
(It's rare to get all the chokes and tool, too!)

      But no spatula...

Bolt-action shotguns are fun - it makes the double trap stages a whole new challenge!

Dang, when I think of all the bolt action shotguns I passed on....
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Looks good! I have an old 185 I saved from a rusty death by cleaning it up and sticking it into a M-44 stock. Mosin & Mossberg. I call it Moberg. I can't figure out how to get the pic here, but if you hit search and enter Moberg you should see it.
